- Begginer pay for just driving a truck is 60 to 70,000 a year plus a $4,000 signing bonus. Shouldn’t the pay for the guys who tow and recover them be the same or better?
- This quote deep in the article… There were over 1,000 fatalities among motor vehicle operators in 2016, according to the U.S. Labor Department, meaning being a commercial driver is nearly eight times as deadly as being a law enforcement officer. It is even higher for the commercial drivers who stop to tow and rescue them.
